These terms apply to website design, redesign, refresh and maintenance services provided by Web Studios 4U (“we”, “us”) to you (“the client”). Your written quote or invoice sets out the specific scope and price of your project; these terms cover everything else.
1. Free homepage demo
We may prepare a custom homepage demo free of charge and with no obligation. The demo remains our property until you commission the project and pay in full. It may not be used, copied or published without our agreement.
2. Quotes and scope
Each project is based on an agreed scope (for example the number of pages and features). Work outside that scope, such as extra pages, e-commerce or Arabic/bilingual versions, is quoted separately before we begin it.
3. Payment
- A 50% advance is due before the build starts.
- The remaining 50% is due when you approve the finished website, before launch.
- Prices are in US dollars. Invoices are paid through the secure payment link provided with each invoice. Any fees charged by your bank or card provider are your responsibility.
- The advance covers work already started and is non-refundable once design or build work has begun, unless we fail to deliver the agreed work.
4. Revisions
Each package includes 2 rounds of revisions. Please send feedback as one consolidated list per round. Further revisions or changes to the agreed scope may be charged separately; we will always tell you first.
5. Your content
You supply the content for your website, including text, images and logos, and confirm that you have the right to use it. We can suggest wording and source suitably licensed stock images where agreed. Delays in receiving content may extend the timeline.
6. Domain and hosting
Domain registration and hosting are not included in our prices. We recommend you register them in your own name. We can help you choose providers and set them up; those providers' own terms and fees apply.
7. Ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own the finished website, including its design and your content. Until full payment, all work remains our property. Third-party components (such as fonts, stock images or open-source code) remain subject to their own licences. Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished website in our portfolio.
8. Care plan
The optional monthly care plan is billed monthly in advance. Its scope is agreed when you sign up. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month.
9. Liability
We build every site with care and test it before launch, but we cannot guarantee specific business results, search rankings or uninterrupted third-party hosting. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
