Compliance basics

Rules worth knowing by market

MarketWhat to check
United StatesState rules based on ABA Model Rules 7.1–7.3 apply to lawyer websites: no false or misleading statements, care with testimonials, results and "specialist" claims. Some states require labels such as "Attorney Advertising" and disclaimers that past results don't guarantee future outcomes.
United KingdomSRA-regulated firms must follow the SRA Transparency Rules: publish price and service information for certain services (for example residential conveyancing, probate and some employment and immigration matters), your complaints procedure, and display the SRA digital badge.
EU / GermanyLawyer advertising must be factual (in Germany, § 43b BRAO and the BORA). The Impressum must include the bar (Rechtsanwaltskammer), professional title and applicable professional rules.
UAE, Saudi Arabia & GulfAdvertising by lawyers is restricted in several Gulf jurisdictions. Keep content factual and informational, and confirm requirements with your licensing authority before launch.

These notes are a starting point, not legal advice. Rules change and vary by state, emirate and country, so please confirm the details with your regulator or professional body. We'll build whatever your compliance requires.

FAQ

Law firms: common questions

Do you write legal content?

We structure and edit pages for clarity. Legal content and any claims must be reviewed and approved by you, because you're responsible for compliance with your professional rules.

Can you add client testimonials?

Only genuine testimonials that you have permission to use, and only where your rules allow them. We never invent reviews or results.

How much does a law firm website cost?

$150 for the first page and $50 for each extra page. A typical small-firm site (home, practice areas, team, fees, contact) is 5–8 pages, $350–$500. The homepage demo is free.

Do you have law firm examples?

We don't yet have a law firm concept design. Your free homepage demo is the best way to see what we'd create for your firm.
